When Harry Met Sally

Harry and Sally

I treated myself today, after a short stretch (that means days) of brain-numbing studying and doing homework. When Harry Met Sally is as good as it gets for romantic comedies. It’s as timeless as Serendipity; funny as Love Actually; charming as Sleepless In Seattle; tear-jerking as The Notebook. So you should watch it.

With names mentioned like Northwestern, Michigan State, U of Chicago and the city of Chicago a setting in itself, it definitely felt very ‘homely’ watching the movie.

It’s so touching how these movies turn out with happy endings no matter how miserable the characters are initially. Hmm I must belong to the minority of guys who enjoy romantic comedies (but only the good ones, please). I’m running out of new good stuff to watch though. . . any suggestions?
