UMich 41 – Indiana University 14

Indiana Football Game
A New performance by the Michigan Marching Band

My last live football game of the season was against Indiana University; the match was virtually over by half time. Athough we were the first side to concede points, we never looked back after their first scoring drive, and we were so comfortable that the entire second half was played by reserve players.

Other than the utterly convincing victory, what made the game special was a fly-over by 2 F-18 fighter jets in honor of the American soldiers who are risking their lives around the world. It was completely unexpected and thus blew me away. They were flying very low – just above the stadium’s scoreboard – and without any payload, but hearing the engines roar as the planes streaked past was just jaw-dropping.
